Or pulled over at a park or lake, endlessly tinkling tunes to attract customers. But now Alsies\u2014a pioneering, tech-driven ice cream truck brand out of North Carolina\u2014is out to change the game.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alsies offers its own mobile app, featuring real-time tracking and live route information. The company can send notifications when an Alsies truck is nearby. Customers even have the option to call the truck directly to their location for curbside service. Alsies also sends text alerts to notify communities when a route will be running in their neighborhood, offering a curated menu of &#8220;gourmet ice cream sandwiches, locally crafted favorites, and beloved classics.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Soon, that app-enhanced service will be offered in Dallas-Fort Worth.<\/p>\n<p>Chapel Hill-based Alsies has announced its first multi-unit franchise development agreement, by partnering with <span class=\"xn-person\">Lauren McConaghy<\/span> to bring six new locations to the <span class=\"xn-location\">DFW<\/span> area.
